I love diners! And this historic diner in Hillsville is among the best. My breakfast bowl was down home delicious. Open until 2pm so great place for breakfast and lunch. Thank you Cindy and Bobby! I'll be back!

I had biscuits and gravy with bacon and home fries. It was so yummy. My husband had and omelette and it was delicious. The waitress was sassy and fantastic. We got a free sweet treat as a starter. Moist chocolate cake with chocolate frosting . Classic old diner with a classic menu

10/10 dining experience! Came here for breakfast our first day and it was so delicious. The waiter was personable and pleasant and was very informative about the surrounding area. Will probably be coming back here for breakfast again and may try out its lunch and dinner! (p.s. the hotcakes are HUGE)

Went in to the Hillsville Diner based on these google reviews. If you're looking for food that tastes like Grandma's, this is it. My pork tenderloin could have came out of Mommaw's skillet. The home fries were crunchy and no- nonsense yummy. Gravy was dressed up with pepper. But the quaint little place has one thing other places don't: Excellent service!! Four different people checked on us and all of them had charm and humor to go with the coffee refills. I hear their hotcakes are amazing. Definitely, I recommend this very great value place and ask you please to not skip the pork tenderloin breakfast!!

"If you're looking for a great breakfast spot with a cozy, country feel, this is it. The cooking is just like you'd expect from a classic down-home place. The country ham was the absolute standout--truly the best I've tasted. The service was top-notch; our waitress was on the spot with everything we needed. Plus, it was great to be personally greeted by the owner. A wonderful experience all around."
